The AKSS kit was design originally with the 2.5mm trip which catch the bolt the best. The 1.5mm trip was made to help those that have tighter slot like the imports but since its thinner, it will wear over time and no longer catch teh bolt. So the 2.5mm is your backup for these imports. You can modify it to fit the imports.
